2015 has been a great year for new TV shows, so much so that you might find that you're struggling to keep up with them.
Or maybe a hot new show was released, but you missed it. This is where TV That Rocks comes in; our website helps you to track your favourite TV shows, read reviews and ratings, and learn about upcoming releases.
To help get you started, here are our top 5 new TV shows of 2015:
Fear the Walking Dead

This prequel to AMC's The Walking Dead is set in the same world as The Walking Dead, but takes place before the events of the zombie apocalypse, and focuses on different characters. Unlike the gore and overt frights contained in the original series, Fear the Walking Dead is more about paranoia and fear in relation to the impending events. It has a brilliantly dark and moody atmosphere, and characters that will keep you hooked. It's a must-see for fans of the original show or the comic books, but is approachable for new viewers as well.
Better Call Saul

Better Call Saul is a prequel/spin-off of Breaking Bad, and comes from the original series' creator, Vince Gilligan. Fans of Breaking Bad will know the character Saul Goodman from the original series, but those new to the universe are kindly introduced to him here as Jimmy McGill, before the events of Breaking Bad. A show with such a fascinatingly dark character at the centre of it is bound to be a hit, and this show is no exception. Its tone is also in-keeping with that of the original, which Breaking Bad fans will be pleased to hear.
Mr. Robot

Mr. Robot is an exciting new thriller, which follows a young man who is troubled with depression and social anxiety, but is also a technological whiz. He is recruited to use his expert hacking skills by an anarchist called Mr. Robot, who assigns missions to his team of hackers in attempts to take down major corporations. Full of drama and suspense, this show will have you hooked from the start with its intriguing and unique premise, talented cast and fascinating characters.
Marvel’s Daredevil

A Netflix original, this series focuses on the Marvel superhero/vigilante, Daredevil. It starts with the back story of how Matt Murdock lost his sight as a young child, but mainly focuses on him as an adult, starting up his own law firm with best friend, Foggy Nelson, whilst also honing his skills to become Daredevil. The show is brilliantly dark, violent and brutally real, but it is the personality of the main characters and their relationships that will keep you coming back for more.
Scream

Scream: The TV Series is an adaptation of the famous horror film of the same name. The premise of the show is essentially that of the film, but updated for the modern era, with all new characters to go along with it. It's a great nostalgic fix for fans of the original movies, but also stands up as an entity in its own right. It retains all of the sense of humour and self-awareness of the movies, with a greater scope for character and plot development.
Don't forget, you can keep updated on these top shows, plus many more at TV That Rocks.
